Meet Andrea, a Spaniard with an Environmental Sciences degree, who went to Mexico for a week, fell in love with the cenotes and decided to stay:
“Since I was a child, my family taught me the love for Nature and open spaces. I’m lucky to have a very intrepid family who shared many adventures with me. Since I have memory, I have been hiking, climbing, snorkeling, doing spelunking, skiing, camping, and, of course, traveling. Then, one day on one of those trips, I went to Australia and discovered scuba diving. Everything changed that day.
In 2009, I got certified as an Open Water diver. Soon after that, I came to Mexico with a friend, where I went diving in a cenote, a flooded cavern. The only word that came to my mind during the whole dive was: MAGIC. That experience turned my life upside down, and in October 2009, I decided to move to Mexico. After a year of training and gaining experience in the area, I became an Open Water instructor and cave diver, starting to work as a guide in the cenotes. A dream come true.
Nowadays, with almost 5000 dives, most of them in an overhead environment, I am still amazed when I think I’m getting paid for diving. The best of Mexico is underwater, and I would love to show it to you.”

Meet Sofia, an Italian with a deep love for the ocean that soon turned into her job.
“I was born with gills, so when I discovered the captivating world of Scuba Diving, I dove (quite literally) headfirst into the experience. Beginning in Italy, then venturing to Egypt, and finally finding my aquatic haven in Mexico, my 10+ year journey has been a fascinating exploration. It has taken me through the ranks of PADI pros, delving into technical Trimix diving, and ultimately immersing myself in the enchanting realm of cave diving.
Throughout this journey, my insatiable curiosity led me to continually pursue courses, expanding my understanding of the intricate wonders that lie beneath the waves, from vibrant reefs to mysterious caves. My passion for diving and exploration, coupled with my academic background in Psychology and Pedagogy, has shaped me into a dedicated instructor. I am always thrilled to share my profound love for the underwater world with my next group of eager buddies.
My career in scuba diving isn’t just a profession; it’s a lifelong adventure fueled by the joy of discovery and the desire to inspire others to appreciate the beauty that lies beneath the surface. With a wealth of experiences, from Italy to Egypt and now Mexico, I look forward to guiding enthusiasts on their own transformative journey through the awe-inspiring underwater landscapes.”
